Actually, to
begin, there's nothing much to be said about me; I'm just a Syrian resident who
has a passion for the events which took place during the aristocratic period in
the palace of Versailles.
Came from a very humble
family in Damascus, I grew up with a tremendous ambition of learning more about
the west and its culture.
Lady Oscar was my gate, with all its splendor and events and the unique
qualities of its
characters and the suffering that each one of them lived.
My favorite
character (which might shock you) is Madame Jeanne DuBarry; a woman who
was able to get what she wants from life and knew the extreme happiness and the extreme sorrow. A woman with a bad history
who was able to
overcome all of her past and stand on her feet again to prove to the world that
any person can do it all.
Andre is
one of the characters I really sympathize with for the love he held for a person
who never knew about his love until the last moment. He endured what any other
man wouldn't endure; a once sided love for more than 20 years which succeeded to
see the light in the end.
Marie
Antoinette, for me, in not a symbol of extravagance as people visualize her
rather than a symbol of a prey to bad luck. No one was able to understand her,
and If she were given the chance to reform everything at the last moment, she would
have been a great queen.
